Location: Off Route 103, Newbury and Goshen, NH Activities: Swimming, picnicking, fishing, boating, hiking, skiing, mountain biking

Amenities: Bathhouse, picnic tables, boat launch, canoe/kayak rentals, chairlift rides, and a full service ski area.

Pets: Pets are permitted in the Mt. Sunapee Campground and trails only. They are not permitted at the beach, the annual Arts and Crafts Festival or the ski area during winter operations.

More Information: This major recreation area in the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee Region offers year-round activities. In the winter, alpine skiing is available at Mt. Sunapee Resort, owned by the state of New Hampshire and managed by the Okemo Mountain Resort.

Enjoy hiking, swimming, picnicking, boating, fishing and swimming in the summer/fall months at the beach.

The campground offers five renovated sites, with pit toilets and water, and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Mt. Sunapee State Park Beach, with flush toilets and showers, is located about a mile from the campground and campers may also use of these facilities.
